We ship foreign merchandise via UPS or U.S Postal Service Airmail or Regular
(our choice unless you pay for faster service, you must email us for a price
quote for faster shipping fees). There is a $20.00 minimum order (not including
shipping fees) for our Foreign customers.
U.S.A AND IT'S TERRITORIES
We ship United States and Territories via UPS or U.S Postal First Class Mail or Priority Mail (our choice unless you pay
for faster service, you must email us for a price quote for faster shipping fees or check the appropriate box on the order form). There is a $10.00 minimum (not including shipping fees) on
purchases for our U.S. customers.
PLANS ON CD-ROM
Plans on Disk or CD-ROM are PC format only.
File formats
Plans on disk or CD-ROM will come in either of the following file formats: PCX/DCX page format, MS Word Doc format, TIFF graphic file format, JPG graphic file format or text format.
Files may be compressed to save space. You will need either
www.winzip.com
winzip or winrar which you can find on our downloads page.
You must use acdsee to view the files or you will have errors and problems.
Here is a link to ACDSEE'S ftp site, pick one of the programs from their ftp- where you can download a viewer/printer for PCX/DCX, TIFF and JPG files. The program is called
ACDSEE.
RETURNS, LATE PAYMENTS, LOST MAIL
Plans And Kits Unlimited has a very specific return policy. We charge a 30%
restocking and shelf fee for every return that has prior authorization from us
via email. We do not accept plans or kits back. We do not accept items back from
the Clearance/Stuff for sale section. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or
misrouted, delayed or damaged items. We send all orders via UPS or USPS and
other couriers upon special request. If you request an item on hold from the
Clearance section and do not send payment within 7-10 days, we will place the
item back on sale and offer it to other customers unless you inform us of your
delay and we are willing to hold the item longer. If the item has already been
sold we have the right to either return your money or substitute your order for
a similar item or items of equal or greater value. If we cannot read your order
form or if your handwritting is illegible we will attempt to send you an email
to get the correct address and order information or we will attempt to send it
to what we believe is the correct address. If it gets lost it is not our
responsibility. Make sure we can read your handwritting or even better: type it.
LOST MAIL
If your plans order is lost we will replace it only once. You must pay shipping
and handling on the replacement order unless it is being re-emailed. If the
plan(s) or some of the plan(s) are only available on disk then we will place all
plans ordered on disk or CD-ROM at our discretion and with no extra charge to
the customer. If you requested that your plans be emailed to you, we will
attempt to email the plans to you once your funds have cleared our bank. If
there is a delay in receiving your plans via email please email us and let us
know. The following email hosts will not accept large files and may not be able
to accept files from us: 1. hotmail, 2. yahoo, 3. juno, 4. aol.
Your order should arrive at our location within a couple days to a week. We
will process it in one day and have it shipped within 1-2 days (cash, money
order, wire transfers and western union only). Personal Checks take
approximately 1 week to clear our bank before we ship.
Assembled Kits
If you purchased an assembled kit there is a standard 2-6 week lead time to
assemble and test it before it ships. It is possible to expedite the
assembly but generally is not cost effective to do so. Please allow ample
time for your kit to arrive taking in consideration the assembly time.
If you have a long delay in your order or think your order may have gotten lost
please email us and we will check into it. Please allow ample time for your
order to arrive at your location. The U.S postal service takes between 3-7 days
to deliver. UPS takes between 4-10 days to deliver. Foreign standard takes 1-6
weeks to deliver and U.S Foreign Airmail takes 7-10 days to deliver. Please do
not clog our email server or we will be forced to ban your email from arriving
at our location. Thank you.
